The newly established Lincoln Institute for Health (LIH) was developed to bring together 10 different research groups within the University to create a “cell to community” based approach to research allowing scientific research to be brought forward for use in a clinical setting.
This setup has also allowed for unique opportunities with internal collaboration across a wide variety of research departments providing different outputs for research projects.
LIH encompasses the following research groups:
Molecular Basis of Disease (MBoD)
Drug Design & Delivery (DDaD)
Lincoln Centre for Autonomous Systems
Laboratory of Vision Engineering (LoVE)
Health Advancement Research Team (HART)
Perception Action & Cognition (PAC)
Healthy Ageing Research Group
Community & Health Research Unit (CaHRU)
Policy Studies Research Centre (PSRC)
There is currently a vast array of research being undertaken within the LIH and further information and news on these projects/activities can be found at the following website: http://lih.lincoln.ac.uk/
